Community Classes Administrator  (Complete oversite of building hire and community classes) 
Rowan is a Cambridge based charity and arts centre for people with learning disabilities. It provides a safe, creative and welcoming environment where the arts are used as a tool to bring people together, break down issues of social exclusion and improve health and wellbeing. At Rowan, student artists can participate in a number of studios including; wood, ceramics, print, textiles and mixed media, as well as regular music and performance workshops.  
Rowan is a charity with a strong social enterprise ethos, which seeks to enhance the sustainability and future of Rowan for its beneficiaries. Works are made to commission and for sale at exhibitions and events.  For the last two years we have grown the community use of the building and are now generating income through the provision of community classes at Rowan and through the hire of our premises. There is tremendous scope to grow our provision and use of our premises and therefore are employing an administrator dedicated to this role. We are looking to double our community class ‘offer’ from 5 to 10 classes in the first year, this will require finding new ideas, tutors and classes Personal specification • We need someone who is self-motivated and outgoing • Someone who approaches this public facing role with tact and good humour • Able to manage your own diary of appointments and meetings • Able to work flexibly through the week, evenings and weekends if and when needed • Proficient in communications, phone and email. • Able to manage a group of tutors  • Manage the expectations of class students • Oversee access to the premises for classes and hiring • Ensure everything is in places/ready for each class eg. Happy to vacuum the floor and set out chairs if required. Job description 
Working mainly to Hetti Wood (Communications Ambassador) Line Manager - Des Trollip (Director of Operations) 
*This role will require flexible working at home and at Rowan and has busier times of the year and will include coming into Rowan evenings and weekends to liaise with tutors and class students  15hrs/week – £11.30/hour = £9,700 per annum Rowan makes a 5% pensions contribution and offers 4 weeks holiday including flexible working around school holidays

Finding new tutors and classes and continuing to grow into the future • Marketing/advertising courses • Liaising with tutors/problem solving and communications • Ensuring cover ie. That classes run • Dealing with class student issues and communications • Premises access management for classes and hire
