I have always enjoyed wildlife picture making and experimenting with a range of media. My most recent work has focussed on the use of screen and lino print on a variety of surfaces.

Living on the edge of Wicken Fen, I am surrounded by a rich and constant source of inspiration for wildlife picture making. As an artist fascinated by the natural world, the starting point for any of my pictures is always field observation. First hand experience of nature brings movement and character to my pictures.

My work has involved private commissions from individuls and organisations (Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust, Bristol Zoo), illustration for wildlife publications as well as exhibition at local and national art events (Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, Society of Wildlife Artists annual exhibition at Mall Galleries, London). I enjoy teaching drawing and watercolour painting to adults and children and was pleased to be part of a community printmaking project here on the fens last summer.
