I completed an art foundation course at CCAT in Cambridge before graduating with a degree in Graphic Design in 1991. Following a career in animation including winning first prize at The Nimes film festival for my animated film "Surface", which was also featured by the BBC in their Animation Now series, I returned to Cambridge to live and work in Interior Design.

Over recent years I've rediscovered my love of painting, particularly in oils, through The Cambridge Art Workshop. I have now taken up painting full time. I draw inspiration from my travels to the scenic coastlines and landscapes of the UK and France. The vista and skies in my work all start from somewhere I've been, but the abstract nature captures something emotional rather than figurative, evoking the feeling of somewhere known and loved.
